Game Description: Confront is a strategic, turn-based game where two players engage in a battle of wits, using a unique combination of wordplay and strategic thinking to outmaneuver their opponent. Players take on the roles of “Accusers” and “Defenders,” with the goal of being the first to eliminate the other’s “Innocence” tokens.

How to Play:

Each player starts with a set of Innocence tokens and a set of Action cards.
On each turn, the Accuser draws an Action card and can choose to play it to disrupt the Defender’s plans or use it to gain an advantage.
The Defender can then respond with their own Action card to counter the Accuser’s move.
Players can also use their Innocence tokens to protect themselves from the Accuser’s attacks or to gain bonus points.
The game ends when one player’s Innocence tokens are eliminated, and that player is declared the winner.

100 Innocence tokens (50 for each player)

Action Cards:

Accuse: Force the Defender to discard an Innocence token.
Deny: Cancel the Defender’s next Action card.
Reveal: Show the Defender a random Innocence token, allowing them to use it to their advantage.
Shield: Protect the Accuser from the Defender’s next Action card.
Boost: Give the Accuser a bonus point for their next turn.

Innocence Tokens:

Each Innocence token has a unique point value (1-5 points).
Players can use Innocence tokens to earn bonus points or protect themselves from the Accuser’s attacks.
Innocence tokens can also be used to trigger special abilities on Action cards.

As the Accuser, focus on disrupting the Defender’s plans and eliminating their Innocence tokens.

Strategies:

The Defender can use their Innocence tokens to create a “shield” around themselves, making it harder for the Accuser to eliminate their tokens.
Players can also use their Action cards to set up long-term strategies, such as building up a strong defense or creating opportunities for bonus points.

Variations:

For a more cooperative experience, players can work together to eliminate a set of “Evil” tokens, which are placed on the board at the start of the game.
For a more competitive experience, players can add additional Action cards or Innocence tokens to increase the game’s complexity and challenge.
